The Kings of Buganda by Sir Apolo Kaggwa

The Kings of Buganda (originally Ekitabo kya Bassekabaka be Buganda) is a seminal historical text compiled by Sir Apolo Kaggwa, the former Katikkiro (Prime Minister) of the Buganda Kingdom. First published in 1901, the book documents the oral histories, genealogies, wars, and political intrigues of Buganda’s kings from the mythical origins of King Kintu to the late 19th century.
